As if stupidity of Formula one car racing is not enough they
are showing their true colors by organizing the nonsense in Bahrain. The repressive
regime in Bahrain is causing untold misery to common people, that seem to be least
of concern for these scoundrels. It is what they say ‘business as usual’. Frankly
you cannot really blame the organizers of London Olympics, the Communists in Bengal
had spread red carpet for Dow. It is a racket; media is only a lubricating conduit in the scheme of things.
It once again goes on to demonstrate that capitalism (aptly demonstrated
by these events) as it is practiced is anti-people and of course anti-environment.
It quite clearly thrives on misery. They tend to support feudal autocrats (as
is demonstrated by regime in Bahrain). This further reiterated by the organizers
of these events and sponsors, their absolute unconcern for carbon footprint
and environmental catastrophe they are contributing to. It is a callousness that thrives on profit. The ‘sport’ that is nothing short of heinous
in the times we live in. Is this what capitalism has to offer?? The arrogance is
astounding.
Juvenile events like ‘Car racing’ (they call it F1) are about
money power, it is an insult on humanity. The event in Bahrain is a humiliation
on people of Bahrain, who are fighting for their basic rights.
