In these divisive melee, where ideologies make least of sense, the constant strive is to differentiate hence obfuscate the realities and tribulations of common people for bigger agenda. Conscience mercenaries like Chomsky shows these extreme tendencies wherein people become pawns, and are expected to sacrifice for bigger and brighter nether. Well Indian leftist don’t measure up to it, these are small time elitist manipulators (except some in Kerala) with dexterity of tongue, and in the Indian context the only groups that really are sensitive can but become violent to face the machiavellian leaders and ruthless State force. The Naxals are probably the one who understand the brutal nature of social reality, the uniquely primitive world that Indians inhabit, and the State nexus with exploitative corporate to uproot the marginalised for their gargantuan greed in the name of national development. Statistics will confirm that while diggers became billionaires (even settling abroad, all for nationalistic cause surely) people rot lacking even basic amenity. Gandhian market media with a sickular vocal cord are known to be on the chaipani list of these earth mowing misery spreading billionaires. These things don’t come cheap. Meanwhile I want to ask the Sikhs who visit Haridwar, on what basis they participate in water related rituals? Why can’t they see and respect water/river for what it is, as compassionate souls like Nanakji could and indeed asserted, rather than taking it just as a mean for their personal aggrandisements in the name of god, and leave the river filthy and people degraded.  Kanhaiya Kumar (JNU student’s union president arrested under draconian sedition charges, that indeed was preserved by Congress retainers. Now it emerges that the videos were doctored) is amazingly prescient to social issues and realities –that indeed many in JNU are exposed to with the knowledge driven inquisitive ecosystem and acute awareness of constant threat of exploitative market, and his (as well as other JNU students) concerns are quite grounded. These cannot be tutored and has strong element of awareness. JNU is sought to be tarnished but this blogger asserts that it is like an oasis of understanding in what is necessarily an uncouth material driven philistine city. Though I must admit that issues raised by contemporary JNU students are in pleasant contrast to almost two decades back when elitism was in fore, during college elections outsiders were active with issues that had nothing to do with social realities of this nation or the campus. I distinctly recall Suhasini Ali ranting about Palestine that I, stuck in the drudgery of Karolbagh, found disgraceful and insensitive opportunism. First, no political leaders should be allowed in the campus. There should be strict rules on these matters. Secondly, likes of Ms. Ali is a regret, carrying as she is, a surname that surely is an insult on gender understanding though the left driven mullah pointer compulsion is understood (it is also not shocking that she nurtures herself in the company of market manipulating CrudeWoman). Nothing is personal when the ramifications are social, and yes when part of identity is that we are forced to acknowledge. A spectre of disgust against hedonist comrade rise!! And yes Mr. Kumar should be careful of the likes of Yechuries who are conniving to use him for elections. To start with he should ask the question why was the former JNU student’s union president kicked out from the party for taking a stand against supporting Mukherjeeji for President’s post? What is so compelling about Mukherjeeji that comrades in Bengal and fetid elite in Delhi are besotted to if not camaraderie? Mukherjeeji’s role during Emergency was not very positive (indeed it is shocking that not a single leader was punished for these wanton killing and untold misery, nor supine EC or SC debarred or arrested these leaders. Surely many were fit case for ‘rarest of rare’. The progenies of media who ‘scrawled when asked to bend’ rule the roost now and inherit these underhand dealings and unethical nudges). Mukherjeeji may, with his characteristic cleverness, blame it on SS Ray (it is ridiculous to suggest that all powerful Indira Gandhi was taken in by a lone leader, also what about the aftermath?) he also makes valiant effort to protect Indira Gandhi (as part of duty ofcourse) who indeed should have been dealt much severely by SC. Imposing Emergency for no reason, killing and maiming people, wanton misuse of State machinery, is treason. Mukherjeeji’s attempts also fails to cut because he was quite close to SS Ray, indeed some way a mentor. There was grapevine in higher echelons ‘wherever Ray went Pranab was sure to go!!”. And yes once it is forgiven, second time this much is enough, next time this fellow does temple hopping in front of this blogger then…Please spare this poor nation Sirji, please settle inside a sanctum sanctorum, cling to disgraceful squatters if you like but please do it after retirement, meanwhile spare us we already have many serious problems, don’t misuse our money. Kuch tho sharm karo.  Regrettably the thing about this primitive society is that I cannot even say he is setting a wrong precedence. That they lack understanding of Indian realities or even exposure to grassroot was recouped with alacrity by emulating the Europeans with extensive reading and coffee table discussions. Unfortunately Indian reality has rare commonality with the West, and their search for class conflict died a premature death. That these readings didn’t remotely affect them nor their squatter ensconced world is a startling insight. They remained feudal patriarchs comfortably ensconced in squatter’s world, indeed benefitting quite grandly from these degradations as they set out to change the world. Disgraceful. Sycophantic congress leaders, essentially family retainers, have low credibility and intellectual gravitas, worst they don’t even have mass support to brag, this vacuum is what they seek to fill by supporting these so called leftist intellectuals who are seen as least threatening. Indeed these leftist types scrawling around the power centre clearly pattern themselves to the requirement. Anything for easy power and money, that too in a country of more than a billion. That explains how CrudeWoman could tight hug Ms. Ali while having clear access to the highest level: The Madam, hence all the goodies and power (even call backs we are informed). It is telling on the Congress leadership that they couldn’t nurture their own followers or party members for these patronages, and indeed help consolidate itself. It shows amazing lack of trust for its own. Even elitist candidates are parachuted for elections undermining the local leadership and party workers. It’s an remarkable travesty, and what takes it to stratospheric level is insular arrogance and entitled invincibility of the leadership.

Thankfully BJP rarely does this hoisting business and impose it on people. This blogger is not against popular figures and amazingly talented people being appreciated but is against these manipulators and fair weather operators, who consistently work to impress the powerful and extract benefits at the expense of people, undermining propriety and degrading institutions. Meanwhile NDA will have to answer what is nationalism and anti-nationalism they espouse. You cannot dismiss an MP or MLA as fringe element when they declare to cut tongues or other violence. Why BJP doesn’t keep these nutcases in tight lease? Why don’t the coalition partners express concern? And yes why have the police not registered a case and arrested the muck mongers and rabble-rousers? Oh I forget the police is politicised and despite many reform commissions recommendations the Congress sycophants were too incompetent to take note or initiate reforms.
