Permanent commission of women in the army is a great step forward. Wonder what took it so long?!!. I recall this issue being raised by women Army officers i happen to interview for a magazine (incidentally on the occasion of women's day) many years back. Extremely glad about this positive step. Also happy to know that elitist Women's bill is facing tremendous opposition in the Parliament and outside it.
