Election Commission needs to be stricter
People
are participating and exercising their voting rights in a democracy in the
faith of not only getting their representation as also with the expectation
that their voting should be kept secret. This privacy is to be maintained and safeguarded
by the EC. How many vokkaligas or chokkaligas or other crap liggas of what religion, voted for
whom and from where shouldn’t be in the public domain. When the person’s
identity is kept secret then how is that a community’s voting pattern deciphered
and revealed? This is a mischief which the elite then use to create divisions
among the society. It is a simplistic version of how and why people vote, an
exaggeration that undermines common people and their aspirations. This assertion
of elite, who have a tight hold on narration, is then sought for manipulation and
bargaining, at the cost of common people. People are therefore pigeonholed and ghettoized,
their aspiration stifled. They are seen as zombies without any say on their will.
It undermines the intelligence of common people. This attitude of elite section
is nothing new but the EC shouldn’t be alibi to it. EC have duty to perform.
Also
during the counting process why are the areas of the constituency revealed? The
mediocre market media then speculate in terms of which section, which subcaste,
which god damn what, controls or not controls the areas and then predict the
pattern. These obnoxious people are also journalists, and as the case is come
from same milieu, so give them assured status to their demented views. Their limited
view on common people is therefore understandable. These mediocre people also
have discussion wherein they utter high sounding words like jathiwad samikaran and other nonsense, as
they try to understand common people but as always through their blinkers. It is
not amazing that they never really get anything right. Further it is much
easier to work on these speculations as it is devoid of any ground work, since
that would require traveling to remote areas and spending time to understand
people. Simplistic version works within the traditional framework –this is
something they have been trained in and entitled to, so the views from this
hole their sacrosanct obsession. People have moved on.
EC
commission has failed to keep the privacy of common people, and playing into
the hands of elite manipulators and helping them inflate their bargaining chip.
This is not the role of EC. This intrusion into the rights of common people is to
be taken grievously. It is undemocratic.

An unopen letter to Gandhi’s grandson
The market liberals, right on
money to save the nation, have this to offer from their backyard. http://www.thehindu.com/features/metroplus/a-suitable-boy-and-girl/article6020584.ece
please read this before you come to this column.
Kasturi&Sons are incorrigible
casteist buffoons is known, they run their legacy from holes of family burrow
(which incidentally is by product of these advantage) is also quite known. That
they quite blatantly aspire to be bigtime saviors is unpalatable, and should be
exposed. Their feudal hold is rather weak, running a media house is nice
substitute. I guess it comes with inbreeding, these higher nuances from primitive
framework. The world should know their true color.
Incidentally Gandhi’s grandson also
had something to say from the same space ironically on the same day. It’s understandable
that his Gandhian angst will not see anything wrong in these caste propagating columns.
It is what they call Idea of India. He
is feeding on his grandfather’s name is not quite unclear, he has gained quite
a lot from these subtleties and so has become an alibi for self serving do-gooders.
Incidentally I don’t think even Nehru in the first election got 100% vote,
despite crudely feudal setup, so his clever double edged views are rather trite. Nor did it
prevent, much later, Rajiv Gandhi from playing communal card, that has since
severely bruised Indian society. Mr. Modi has the mandate to rectify these
mistakes, clearly feudal crap nonsense that has been imposed in the name of secularism
should go. My concern though is crony capitalism and impact on fragile environment,
which ofcourse Gandhi’s grandson will not find of utmost importance.
Fatherhood of the nation cannot
hide nor can deny Gandhian hypocrisy –that Indian elite found these as signs of
mahatmahood is quite in place with the way the society is structured. It is
therefore incumbent on Gandhi’s grandson to explain why he is writing articles in the newspaper which carries these blatantly casteist articles. He must be aware of the history and crude
world it hinges on, and untold miseries it spreads. I am quite aware why some Indian
writers prefer international newspaper of repute, Indian media is mediocre and
self serving with few exceptions here and there –who also work under
constraints. Indian elite are quite average people, and the views of Indian intellectuals
among the international community are also quite insignificant. Indeed India itself
is quite insignificant in the world community, sucking the national resources
and exporting therefore increasing GDP will not change this reality. It is
skewing what is crude into vulgar. It is a society that lacks empathy, and every
structure hinges on this. Kasturi&Sons are hypocrites but they shouldn’t be
allowed to get away with these, and their subtle positioning (that comes with
inbreeding) should be exposed. Studying in the best of educational institute in
the world and exposed to best of what world has to offer has only made them
cunning, this also very much an Indian idea. So as they learn they get more cunning,
the new gadgets are used to spread these deviance and manipulative intent.
Gandhi’s grandson has lots of explaining
to do, his higher concerns can wait. If he is claiming Gandhian legacy (which ofcourse
he is, otherwise I don’t know where does he figure in billion people) then he has
to explain whether he is also party to furthering Gandhian hypocrisy. He must apologize
for using this newspaper for expressing his views and so has become part of
regressive mindset. Atleast his other sibling was better he was only peddling
luxury pen. Gandhi’s grandsons are known to carry Gandhian legacy bit too far!!

Demolish the Idea of India
There are some in the
elitizens who have constructed something called Idea of India, it is concoction
of their manipulations and possibilities therein that perpetuate their hold
over common people in a rather bleak attempt on egalitarianism. Gandhi was one
of the founding members, it also has some hash of Nehruvian benevolence. Nehruvian
values sought to put logical and attempt to broaden minds but it couldn’t disguise a
deep felt dislike for Hindu ways, almost paranoid elitism mimicking British, that had come to define
modernity among the westernized Hindus. Yes there are and were obnoxious Hindu practices
but ironically elitizens (including Nehru or for that matter Gandhi) didn’t seek to demolish or even relegate deviant and exploitative
Hindu structure. And so Mishras and Pandeys carried on their task of building
the Idea of India without as much as
showing any awareness of what their identity tag carried or meant. So they
accrued from the feudal and inhumanly exploitative past, in the meanwhile it also
gave them assured humbleness and direct access to truth. They have since expanded
their horizon as spokespersons of Indians, some in an act of cession have completely
migrated to west, but hung on to vasudeva
kutumbakam as an act of chivalry. The hallow of indecency and mediocrity that majority of Indians carry is not their fault, its an unique attribute mix of entitlement, providence and inbreeding.
The Idea of India that works on entitlement
driven worldview and values, and a relatively recent entrant called secularism.
Secularism has since become a runaway success among elitizens that also help showcase
themselves as world standard humanitarians and intellectuals. Incidentally this
was added as an afterthought into Indian constitution, coinciding with Indira
Gandhi’s manipulation of religious communities against each other, and Muslims
as vote banks and mullahs as arbitrators. This was beginning of an exploitation
even colonial Britain couldn’t achieve. Henceforth minorities were mullahs and
muslims elites, and any hint of harm to them was seen as threat to secularism and
therefore idea of India. Obnoxious practices
of mullahs (that includes polygamy) and hedonistic lifestyles of Muslim elites
were to be seen as signs of Indian diversity. In the meanwhile the exploitative
hindu structure was kept intact with tacit acknowledgement, and even promotion
through matrimonial columns and attending elaborate arranged marriages that was nothing but
perpetuation of deviance and crude culture. All these while the lowest and poorest suffered,
irrespective of religion and region. This therefore is the Idea of India that has been practiced and sought to be protected. They
have added pointers of modernity to not only make it attractive to western
narration but also the omniscient market which they are direct beneficiary of.
Pankaj Mishra is another
of elitizens, from distant shores, who has taken the cudgels of saving our souls by
also writing in foreign newspapers, this affliction tops elitizens bucket list.
He may have humble railway colony background, that he may harp, but the Mishras
are quite clear in their pecking order, and
I am quite sure that he is fully aware how these translates into horrendous reality
as it percolates down. So when they migrate to city it is
matter of time when sanskaras and ideas of India will catch up to save
them from ignominy. It’s about latching on, for Mishras it comes with effortless
ease and opens up doors double quick, sometimes it is referred to as Indian tradition.
It is subtlety between pure vegetarian and vegetarian which the ordinary souls
will take few more janmas to understand.
This therefore is idea of India. Mishra
points to certain aberrations in Kasturi boys publication in context to mullahs
angst in Kashmir (this blogger has already mentioned that Article 370 is divisive and
discrimination against Indian people, it prevents assimilation. Under this framework military pressures are
likely –that falls in the ambit of the duties of nation state, put that in context of
rabid neighborhood), he may score some liberal brownie points but he himself represent
a tradition of exploitation is not lost to us Indians (westerners may not get
it, that is the saving grace of Indian liberalism). That Mishra didn’t find any
problems with matrimonial columns nor the little brahmanical faith column that
has obnoxious temple squatter’s piety as enlightenment, which no civilized
newspaper would carry, is instructive. Thankfully Kasturi boys stopped astrology,
another of idea of India that invades
channels early morning with all kinds of charlatans working on future of our souls,
in a very taut exploitative framework. I am told they have problems with superstition,
which is practiced by common people for immediate succor from misery, but these
kinds of nonsense that come in TV or street corners are I believe part of idea of India. The other day I came
across article by Padgoankar (weebit unhinged fellow is now completely unhinged),
you must observe his bearings, the vintage Nehruvian liberal concerns, put up mannerism
and speech (the accent should make Mrinal Pandey –another bearer of truth,
extremely content), but doesn’t find anything amiss in mentioning the President
as ‘brahmin’ (in association with other fine qualities, by default he himself
claims), such blatant casteism would have been shunned by civilized society but
in the idea of India these are
valued. He himself comes out amazingly liberal with heightened concerns for safeguarding
Idea of India.
It’s time to demolish the Idea of India that is holding common people
on ransom, the new political dispension in centre is least likely to do it. Indian
political elite is only an extension of exploitative framework, and so is the
game of secularism and acquired pointers of liberalism that is firmly fixed to seize
the western imagination. This blogger will make all effort to consistently
expose these scoundrels who have gotten hold of our narration and even deciding
what is good for us, taking high moral grounds, in the meanwhile exploiting common
people and accruing feudal benefits.
Post
script: any guesses what do these people, whose pictures
are there in this blog, have in common? …liberalism comes so very easy as much
as fundamentalism for some. It is a cult feeling that find outlet in different context
but seeks benefits nevertheless. The burden of Idea of India falls on very few people, indeed only few can
understand it. It takes only 100 Rs (just about1.5$, to give an international perspective) to change your surname!! But that would be emasculation
of Idea of India. Sambavani yuge yuge!! You cannot take high moral stand from a primitive framework,
this hypocrisy has been allowed for too long, will not be tolerated, credentials will be scrutinized.

Wow !!
The change is always for better. But this is stupendous. Incredible indeed. Though other results were on expected lines
but I am shocked by BSP performance. Immediate threat: crony capitalism and
entrenched coteries around lutyens delhi, who should be dismantled … in the
meanwhile political appointees should resign on their own (like they do in US)
rather than playing martyrs (this include those who are clutching to chairs in
Prasar Bharathi, get used to different ways of accent that Indians speak in. We common people don't have West as reference. Got it).

It wouldn’t be as bad as Indira Gandhi’s regime
There are apprehensions
being raised (by none other than the likes of Salman Rushdie, who spends few days in a
year in India) about threat to freedom of expressions and so on under Narendra
Modi’s government. Firstly, people are assuming it will be Modi’s government,
though there is a large likelihood, these have got consolidated in recent time
with him being blamed for all and sundry happenings, and all kind of crooked
and disgusting people masquerading secularism. It has acquired a cottage
industry status to save the country from Modi with dubious people and attention
seekers stampeding for light under the sun (or is it camera). There is a
massive positioning going on. It has less to do with common people and more to
do with elitizens positioning (competing is a better word) with each other for
whatever they can gather.
Secondly, Emergency was
the worst period in independent India's history. Indira Gandhi should have been tried
for treason, or atleast banished from public life. Emergency was an unpardonable
act. The kind of atrocities committed has not been completely brought to light.
Rajan murder in Kerala was only the tip of an iceberg of colossal miseries (It is akin
to Sikh massacre which only came into significance after Gujarat. Unlike Narendra
Modi, Rajiv Gandhi was never seen to be part of the conspiracy, I find that amazing.
Is it good looks or good english and sophistication, I am wondering what is it?
Or is it mullah’s angst masquerading secularism?). There is a massive cover up
by the section of elite who gained and therefore played their part in
degrading the opposition leaders and parties, during and after the emergency
which paved the way for Congress return. They haven’t allowed these atrocities to
be mainstreamed. Some of their progenies have migrated to foreign land (mostly Europe)
and have since become our long distance conscience keepers, therefore corruption
is never an issue as they gain from these. It needed a hindutva consolidation to
challenge this monopoly of Congress at an all India level, this again is elitist
but does break the status quo. The hegemony of exploitative corporate will therefore
continue.
The kind of quelling
that Indian people saw during emergency was the nadir and I don’t think any government
will ever come close to it. The people involved in these atrocities continued to be
in political life without as much as battling an eyelid. Take for instance,
Ambika Soni who till few years back was Union Information Minister (it’s akin
to Tagodia becoming Minister of Tolerance!!), she was subsequently dumped
due to incompetence. I guess garb of secularism can wash away even the worst of
crimes. Nobody objected to these is a serious question mark on competence of
media. Also the remnant of highhandedness still exist, state media is being used
as personal fiefdom even now, recent incident are only symptoms of bigger
malaise. Wonder what Mrinal Pandey has to say on these matter, I am sure she
has resigned or is she still concerned about how people pronounce the word ‘media’
and other bedtime anecdotes, hilarities!
The new entrant in
media radar is Priyanka Gandhi, I am wondering who is she. I see her before every
election waving at people and blurting one-liners that media laps. Last time,
in what was a disgusting attempt to woo the voters, they even brought her
children to campaign. Indeed the media (as well as so called intelligentsias)
interest is nothing but feudal. Priyanka Gandhi has not held any position of
authority in government or in the party then what is her locus standi? Why is
she given importance? Furthermore in an amazing act of indecency she snubbed
Modi for ‘calling her daughter’. There is a difference between calling someone a
daughter and ‘daughter like’ (which is a common usage). This kind of visceral reactions are uncalled
for and has brought down the standard of political debate and social etiquette.
Media should explain on
what basis they are giving importance to Priyanka Gandhi, if they mock dynasty
politics (which indeed is not confined to congress nor to political field) then
their interest in her is nothing but feudal. Vice-versa these deviant interests
are being milked by someone who is not been responsible for anything. So what
is the authority of her statement? In that case each Indian’s statement should
be headlines. In the last many years she hasn’t had any involvement, so why now
this sudden interest before election? I find that obnoxiously opportunist, pliable
media –who themselves are product of feudalism, is playing ball as they always
do. I am told India is world’s largest democracy.
Stop
the Gandhian non violent casteism or demolish the temples
People protest against heinous
culture inside temples (this time in Udupi). Supreme court should take suo moto
on these. There are too many entrenched interest in these miseries. If they find it difficult to change their culture then demolish the temple and make a park or public toilet. Park is a better idea,
since it would add to greenery as also as an Indian male I have the right to
piss anywhere including parks, while you cannot make a park inside a toilet.
