Few minutes back scientists (astrophysicist at LIGO, to be precise) announced
the confirmation of Gravitational Waves, in an eagerly awaited press conference.
Something that Einstein predicted exactly hundred years back. So we have from
now on a new sense, a new way to observe universe!! This is truly big,
discovery of a lifetime. It is a moment akin to Galileo looking through his
telescope for the very first time four hundred years back. The implication is tremendous.
This could be a step towards solving, something that bothered Einstein in the
later part of his life, the theory that brings gravity and quantum on the same
frame, as they say: The Theory for Everything.
