Protest against Israel is not antisemitism

College campuses are space for learning, as also idealism and protest. More vibrant an education space better it is for society and dealing with complexities of future. To classify protest against atrocities committed by Israel in Gaza as anti-semitism is spacious and stretching wrong of history into entirely different context of contemporary. Indeed even protest against Judaism is not against Jews. System and people are entirely different entity. System's hold on people must be resisted while people's choices must be respected ofcourse within the rule of law, values of freedom and liberty. Students have all the right to respond peacefully and vigorously to events around the world. Meanwhile it must be seen that it is not intimidating other students or society in general, importantly it must not provide space for dangerous islamists nor regressive references normalized.
